VMA House Policies
Welcome to VMA Arts & Cultural Center. Please make note of the following patron safety and event policies for the theater.
Event Policies
- For the safety of performers, unauthorized cameras are not allowed.
- Unauthorized recording devices are not allowed.
- Please turn off all cell phones, paging devices and digital alarms during performances.
- Late arrivals will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager in accordance with the late seating policy for the performance.
- Concessions items are not allowed in the seating area unless otherwise noted.
Event Tickets & Information
Tickets are available at www.tickets.com or toll free at 1-800-919-6272.
On days of events, the VMA Box Office opens at 12 noon and remains open until a half-hour past curtain. Otherwise, standard VMA Box Office hours are 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday through Friday, during the performance season. Call the VMA Event line at 401/272-4VMA for more information.
Patron Conveniences
- Concessions are available on the Hospitality and Mezzanine levels.
- Restrooms are located on the Hospitality and Mezzanine levels.
- A public telephone is located on the Main level.
- Coat Check is located on the Hospitality level.
- Lost & Found items are held for 30 days. Please call the VMA Administrative Office at 401/222-1110.
ADA Patron Services
- VMA is a fully accessible facility.
- Wheelchair access provided via motorized door to the Main level.
- Elevator access to the Hospitality and Mezzanine levels via the elevator on the Main level.
- Designated wheelchair seating space available on the Main floor and Mezzanine.
- An accessible telephone is located on the Main level.
- Accessible restroom facilities are located on the Hospitality level.
- Hearing-impaired FM headsets are available from the House Manager.
Patron Safety
- VMA is a no-smoking facility
- First Aid assistance is available through the House Manager
- In case of emergency, use the nearest exit.
- Fire regulations prohibit standing in the aisles during events.
