The Event Line is in operation during VMA Box Office hours and automated during non-VMA Box Office hours. On days of events, the VMA Box Office opens at 12 Noon and remains open until a half hour past curtain. Otherwise standard VMA Box Office hours are Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM during the performance season. To purchase tickets at any time, please use VMA's premier ticketing service, Tickets.com. Log on to www.tickets.com 24 hours a day or call 1-800-919-6272 between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. For box office hours June – August, please call the VMA Event Line for box office hours.

World Premiere of Viktor Plotnikov's production of the classic fairy tale. Music by Prokofiev.
Traditional Chinese music and instruments. Butterfly Lovers is regarded as the equivalent of the classic Western Romeo and Juliet story. A unique form of opera with an all-female cast, differing both musically and visually from traditional Western opera. Butterfly Lovers is an excellent opportunity to further understanding of Chinese art, history, culture and tradition. Presented by the University of Rhode Island in celebration of the opening of the URI Confucius Institute, one of only 20 such institutes in the U.S.
The great modern dancer Bill T. Jones and his company. Inspired by the pieces that Tony-award winning Jones and the late Zane began creating over 20 years ago, Another Evening: I Bow Dow is a transporting experience that examining the resilience of the human spirit. In this performance, Jones is both dancer and spectator, moving through a landscape of natural disasters and personal reminiscence. Live music by Daniel Bernard Roumain. Concludes the FirstWorksProv 2007 festival.
