Joe Manfredi Productions and Anthony Palmisano present The Treat Her Like a Lady Concert. This concert is comprised of a superstar lineup, Taylor Dayne, Deniece Williams, Evelyn “Champagne” King, CeCe Peniston, and Crystal Waters, 5 Divas from 3 generations coming together to help spread awareness for the Gloria Gemma Resource Foundation. All their accolades speak for themselves. It will prove to be an extraordinary night filled with fun, dancing, hopes and dreams!
Partial proceeds from every ticket will be donated to The Gloria Gemma Resource Foundation. This is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free services to individuals and families touched by cancer in our local communities.
There will also be a “cameo appearance” by Bruce Williamson Jr., former lead singer of the “Temptations” singing their “smash” hit single “Treat her like a Lady” with back-up vocals by RI ‘s own TriBeCa, the popular trio who sings your favorite covers from R&B, Funk, and Soul!
About the artists:
Taylor Dayne: Taylor Dayne has had top ten hits in three decades including “Prove Your Love”, “I Will Always Love You”, “Love will Lead You Back” and “Tell It To My Heart”. From her 3 no. 1 singles and her Grammy-Nominated songs, she can be heard across the world.
CeCe Peniston: Cece Peniston is an international icon. As an artist, performer, and songwriter, she is considered to be one of the most successful dance/club artists in the history of the US Billboard Dance Music/Club Play Charts. She has 5 major #1 hits in just 3 years.
Evelyn “Champagne” King: Evelyn “Champagne” King has had 2 No. 1 hits, “I’m in Love” in 1981 and “Love Come Down” in 1982. She has also had 6 top ten songs. She is best known for her it single “Shame” which hit top ten on the The Billoard Hot 100! In 1982, she released a 2x platinum album “Get Loose” which featured “Love Come Down”.
Crystal Waters: Crystal Waters was named by Billboard Magazine as one of the most successful dance music artists in the history of the Billboard Dance Music Chart with 10 #1 Billboard Dance Chart hits and 11 top ten songs. Box Office Hours are M-F, 10A–5P; Sat 10A-2P. Summer hours are M-Th 10A-3P. The VETS on-site Box Office is only open on show days. Children under the age of six are not permitted to attend performances unless it is designated as a family show. Please call the Box Office at (401) 421-2787 to see which shows are appropriate for younger children. All persons regardless of age are required to have a ticket for family shows.
